30cm Oval Honing Steel

The Lion Sabatier Honing Steel is a great tool for maintaining and re-aligning the blade edge between sharpening. 

Over time, with regular use, the edge of your knife can become slightly misaligned due to the pressure applied when cutting. The Lion Sabatier honing steel will polish the blade to maintain that razor-sharp edge.

The oval design of the steel can be considered more forgiving when it comes to maintaining the correct sharpening angle. The flattened sides can help guide the knife edge into the correct knife position/angle more easily.
